I Ain't No Queen of Hearts

Powerhouse vocalist, mother, wife and one of the hardest working women in the music business, Amanda Pruitt, is on the rise to stardom by just doing things the old fashion way. With four records and an EP behind her belt, Amanda is also a creative songwriter for Melody Roundup Music & Publishing. Amanda has a gypsy soul with Mississippi roots, a Louisiana Heart, a Missouri Mind, Texas Spirit and a Nashville Dream.  Amanda has gained respect through the songwriting community and is currently working hard to fully develop her sound. Amanda is proving her ability one stage and one project at a time.

If the strong country roots of Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn, the soulful sounds of Janis Joplin, the modern flow of  Miranda Lambert and stories from the heart as Margo Price, could be melted together into one unified sound...with a touch of Willie and the heart of Johnny Cash... you’d have a voice like Amanda's.  Her sound is organic to say the least and mixes well within Americana, Classic and Traditional Country, Rock and Roll, Blues and even some good ole’ southern gospel tones."Gospel music is where my heart and soul meet," said Amanda, "Without my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I would not be here and I HAVE to give him all the credit for everything I am doing." Amanda has released four professional projects, (Let It Go, Read Between the Lines and Something Will Give) and one gospel album, (Not Turning Back) and the newest EP- Strong ,that was recently released on the independent label Melody Roundup Music. Amanda will be releasing new music soon, with a focus on the Outlaw, Americana, and Country tunes Amanda was raised on. "We have to get back to where we came from," said Amanda.  A young girl who was told she'd never make it, to the adult heart still told she'd never make it...is finally making music that matters. She is determined to make a living playing music and to bring people hope while doing so and never giving up. "I ain't no queen of hearts, but hit me, keep them cards coming my way," Amanda laughs.

Amanda is not just a talented artist, but also a soon-to-be accomplished author and journalist.  With a BS in Journalism and a minor in Performing Arts from Texas A&M-Commerce, she has the talent and skills to succeed extrodinarily with a little push. Talent is not her only asset, her determination, strength and God-fearing spirit are propelling her to stardom. Amanda is an Alumni of Wentworth Military Academy,  Central Missouri State University and Texas A&M- Commerce. With God and her family as her focus, Amanda continues to travel and play shows as a solo act and with a band of seasoned musicians across Texas, Alabama, Missouri, Florida,Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Be on the lookout for Amanda to be in a town near you very soon.

When catching a show, you will not be disappointed by the electric performance and Amanda's ability to keep you wanting more!
